How to troubleshoot Amazon Echo MIC problems?

Many users, complain about the MIC issues after they Setup Amazon Echo. The MIC issues with Amazon Echo devices are very common and can be fixed with the help of simple guidelines. Below, we are sharing some simple troubleshooting steps that can fix Amazon Echo MIC problems:

Reboot or Reset  the Amazon Echo 
Rebooting your Echo device can help you to troubleshoot the problem.  Unplug the Echo device and then plug it back to see if the problem is solved.  If not, try resetting your device. This will take your device back to its factory settings. Although, you need to set up the device again using Amazon Alexa app on your tablet or smartphone.

Disable the MIC Temporarily 
You can try to clear the communication line by turning off the Microphone for a while. Disable the MIC of your Echo device by pressing the MIC On/Off button present on the top of the device. When the button turns to the Red color, your Mic is off. The device will not revert you until you reactivate the MIC by press the MIC On/Off button again.

Test Which Direction Amazon Alexa Is Listening 
 A good way to judge us something around your Echo device is causing a lot of noise is to pay attention to the Blue Light present on the device. When you say the Wake Word, the Blue light around speaker brin will turn solid blue with cyan pointing in the direction from where the voice has been heard. If the direction is not towards you, the Echo device is listening to someone else.

Reboot the Router 
Amazon Alexa cannot work without network connectivity. So, if there are Intermittent or non-existent WIFi connectivity errors, you can reboot the router. Turn on or off your Echo device again to troubleshoot the problem.
