Amazon Echo Dot - Easy Setup Instructions

You can complete the Amazon Echo Dot Setup on your computer, iPhone, MAC, and Android device by following the simple guidelines. Below mentioned quick guide will help you to complete the setup process over the wireless network or the internet. Follow the guidelines carefully to avoid troubles in the Setup process. 

• Wait for the Orange Ring Light to appear on your Echo Dot device. This light shows that your Dot device is all set to configure over the wireless connection. 
• If the device complaining light will change color to purple, then press and hold the action button, you can find this button opposite the Mute button present on Echo Dot device. Press and hold the button for five seconds until the ring light turns orange. 
• Go the Settings menu, and click on the ‘Update WiFi’ option. Alternatively, you need to add the new device and choose Setup a new device. Now, input your wireless network details alternatively, use the SSID and password to connect to the wifi.

• Now, you need to choose the network name to which you would like to connect and enter the network password. Using the on-screen keyboard, the password-protected networks show the lock icon on the network password. And, this will not match the password of your Amazon account after you get connected to the wireless network. Download the Echo Alexa app and use the Echo dot device to get started. You can use the Wake word following your command to execute the instructions. 
• Your Amazon Echo Dot device is all set to respond to your command. If you want, you can change the wake word.
